MOTHERS’ DAY

ACTS 9:36-46

In honor of Mothers’ Day, we will look at the life of Dorcas, a follower of Jesus who reflected Him by serving others. Dorcas lived a life that was full of God’s goodness, fashioned for His glory, and furthered the Gospel. God wants to use you similarly, with the gifts He has given you – even if you think you have nothing to offer Him. God made you with a unique purpose in mind. Jesus wants to breathe life into what we may see as minimal, insignificant, and mundane with real life for His glory. We are to follow Jesus, using the gifts He gives ­– simple as some might seem,  loving others, ultimately pointing others to Jesus.
