FOUR TEENAGERS WHO TOOK THEIR FRIEND TO JESUS

FOUR TEENAGERS WHO TOOK THEIR FRIEND TO JESUS

Mark 2:1-11

Are you convinced that Jesus could heal your SIN-SICK friend? In this passage, four young men manage to get their friend on the roof, tear through the roof, and then lower their friend to Jesus, who was teaching in a home. What type of courage and commitment did it take for them to do this? Jesus responded mainly to the faith of the four men who worked hard to bring their friend and lay him at Jesus’ feet. Jesus would not cure this man’s disease (symptom) until He had taken away the sin (source). Likewise, Jesus can’t change what you do until he changes who you are!!!

God laid this helpless friend on their hearts, and they risked much to get him to Jesus. Maybe this disabled man had even given up hope — but his friends had not given hope. When was the last time you took a risk for a friend?
