A million thanks to the men who helped at work day on Saturday, July 9, 2016.Their grueling “to do” list included: (1) clearing the underbrush from the property on the north end, from the road to the back of the property; (2) transporting the debris to the south end of the property to create a brush pile; (3) “weed eating” around the exterior areas; (4) placing drainage stone around each of the HVAC unit pads; and (5) placing concrete around the clean out pipes to prevent damage…

Student Kayak Expedition

On July 5, Crossroads students kayaked the Ghost River section of the Wolf River. Although a Class I river, it does not mean that the Ghost Section is easy!  The Ghost Section meanders nearly 8 miles with many sharp turns, obstacles (mostly fallen trees), and a maze canoe trail through a cypress-tupelo swamp bottom.
