This Week at Crossroads: October 14- October 19

Experience the Holy Land. Walk the streets where Jesus walked, and experience the places where the great stories of the Bible took place.  Join Crossroads in association with Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary as we journey to the Holy Land, June 27-July 4, 2019. Rob Mullins will share more information with those interested next Sunday, October 14, following the service in the Awana Room.

Life Choices Annual Banquet is Thursday October 25, 6:30 PM at Germantown Baptist Church. We have 24 seats reserved this year. There is no charge for the meal, but a request for financial support will be made that evening. If you interested in supporting Life Choices or interested in knowing more about this ministry, please reserve your seat by calling the church office at 309-7777. The deadline to reserve your seat is Monday, October 15.

The annual Fall Family Festival will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The Awana Program resumes Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Awana offers Scripture-based programs and exciting games that focus attention, promote Bible literacy, and help kids develop life-long faith in Christ. Even if you’ve never come to Awana, join us for this week to see what Awana is all about!

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to share the joy of Christmas with a child in need! Pick up and fill a “shoe” box! Boxes and instructions will be available in the Narthex on October 14. If possible, we ask that you include $9 to cover shipping. Please fill your box(es) and bring them back to the church before Wednesday, November 14. If you prefer to donate items rather than filling a box, we will accept loose items that can fit inside of a shoebox. If you’d like to make a donation to help cover the cost of shipping the boxes, you can make a donation to the church and designate Operation Shoebox on your envelope.
