W.I.S.E. Study

W.I.S.E. (Women In Search of Encouragement)  meets Wednesdays at 6:00 PM in room S124. This study focuses on fellowship and encouragement from God’s Word and will delve into Be Encouraged, a study on 1 Corinthians, by Warren Wiersbe. Cost: $10.

Authentic Manhood – 33 the Series: A Man & His Traps.

(Men) Authentic Manhood- 33 the Series: A Man & His Traps. This study identifies the “traps” we often fall into and the “idols” we so often worship as men – things such as sexual temptation, the need for control, fear, and the search for significance.  We’ll learn to replace these temptations and struggles with God’s better promises for us. From Beginning to End, How Now Shall We Live 

(COED) From Beginning to End, How Now Shall We Live.This course, taught by Richard Fisher, broadly explores God’s primeval command to Adam, “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat” (Gen. 2:17), through world history, from its beginning, until today, and a future state of reward and punishment. “From Beginning to End, How Now Shall We Live” is adapted from How Now Shall We Live by Colson and Pearcy, We Still Hold These Truths by Spalding, Never Before in History by Amos and Gardiner, and The Conscience of the Constitution – The Declaration of Independence and the Right to Liberty by Sandefur.  Emphasis will be given to The Declaration of Independence – our National Charter.  Cost: NA

MORNING BIBLE STUDIES

Tuesday Bible Study

Held on campus offering childcare, beginning September 12, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

(Ladies) Priscilla Shirer Study on Jonah. (Ladies) Led by Vicki Mullins, this study will help you redefine interruption and see that your interruptions are actually God’s invitation to do something beyond your wildest dreams. Cost $15. Childcare is available by reservation only and the cost is $20 per family for the semester. Childcare reservations must be made by August 27. **(Register for Childcare.)**

Thursday Morning Bible Study

Held off campus (childcare NOT available), beginning September 21.

(Ladies) “What Would Jesus Say?(Ladies) The phrase “What Would Jesus Do” has permeated our society, but the greater question is “What Does Jesus Say?”  This study, led by LeAnn Allen, will be held at Becky Parrish’s house from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Cost is $15.
